Bookwire is a young company with experienced managers based in Frankfurt, the city of the Book Fair, specialising in the marketing of digital content in all existing and emerging sales channels. They offer publishing houses the opportunity to tap into the rapidly-growing market for eBooks and audiobooks with a partner in the digital field – quickly, competently, independently and cost-effectively. From mid of June 2013, Bookwire is using our DSP-system to distribute their audio content.

Once again, some new high quality labels joined digedo as their partner for digital distribution. And again, the brandings come from all over the world, representing the complete bandwidth of electronic music: “Asylum Confidential” from Honolulu / Hawaii (USA), “Bitbox” (run by Groovejuice) and „s.fm” (belonging to the online radio station sceen.fm) - both from Germany - and “Plant 74”, founded by Tripmastaz in St.Petersburg, Russia. We’re looking forward for a long and good cooperation with these wonderful labels!

In the last weeks, we had the chance to distribute a lot of more films with actors like Bud Spencer, Deborah Kerr, Chuck Norris, Jackie Chan, Elizabeth Taylor, Adriano Celentano, Jürgen Prochnow and Van Johnson. Together with new documentaries f.e. about Karl May, Michael Jackson and Mailyn Monroe, we expand step by step the genre range of our distributed movies.

The brand new album "Light Leaks" from Mole Listening Pearls artist "Zagar" entered directly position # 1 at the iTunes album charts in Hungary. The album reached the pole position in less than 6 hours after its official release! Furthermore the album track "Mr. Lugosi" entered the top 10 of the Hungarian iTunes single charts at position #5.

Žagar are a five piece psychedelic electronica band based in Budapest that are turning heads across the globe with their forward thinking sound design, catchy melodies and multi sensory live shows. The talented band have already achieved strong critical acclaim, their last album "Cannot Walk, Fly Instead" was nominated twice for the regional award at the MTV Europe Music Awards and entered the Top Ten in the music charts.
