1st album release on Harthouse Mannheim: Zoo Brazil

The project name reminds rather a hatching sunny day in the animal park of Rio de Janeiro between lion and giraffes. But Zoo Brazil are actually two producers from the north of Europe. In autumn, 2005, with their release “crash”, both Swedes gave first new life breath to the myth of the legendary Harthouse label. Now John Andersson and Johan Emmoth add on the album “Zoo Brazil Needs You” of other high-class minimalist tracks. The album starts with dust-dry beats, rounded by a navy of small sound satellites circling around. Kicking old-school drums, mainspring basses, fantastic retro-bubbles, perfectly produced with subtle pressure towards the climax. The true size of this fine Tech-House production lies in the waiver. The album develops in each piece its own colours, which seam at last darker and deeper and correspond perfectly with the track names (Pleasure, Drink Me, Protect Me or Reflections). All tracks of Zoo Brazil are packed with experience of more than 40 single releases and 20 remix-works which John Anderson and Johan Emmoth have as producers on the account. They cooperated with Fatboy Slim, Human League, Dannii Mingoue and Nitin Sawney. And in addition the both Swedes are still the heads behind illustrious names like The Kelly Project, Laid, Cuba Computers, Nars, Outcold and just now Zoo Brazil.
