As part of the burgeoning Eastern European electronica scene, the heavyweight Zagar are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year. With their distinct sound of wave rock, electronica and psychedelic soundscapes embedded in an intriguing Hungarian spirit, their powerful live shows which they toured around Europe and hits such as Wings of Love with close to 1.5m views and in hot rotation on german radios they clearly put their name on the music map in Europe. They are already in the studio working on their eagerly anticipated next studio album. In the meanwhile, they are releasing a single from their previous hit album “Cannot Walk Fly Instead” with remixes from some hot producers. Prophet is a Fool is a genuine rock song with electro influences which was torn apart and pieced into a headbowing, hip-hop fused gem, by Dj Bootsie (BBE Records). As Moonbootica, the Hamburg duo is saying, they have been keep on keeping on for almost ten years now. Their fusion of old and new school electro mixed with hip-hop samples have made them a solid career over the years, and again, delivered a sure party cracker. The Hamburg based remix-guru Eriq Johnson has previously worked with Zagar on their remix album for the hit song Wings Of Love. His an exceptionally prolific producer, who’s remixes and own releases continously land among the Top 10 on major download charts. The pioneer of the genre Tech-House, Terry Lee Brown Junior made a real minimal flow-music, and the UK based trip-hop producer, Sheever took a dark acoustic aproach to the track.
