Music is colorful, diverse and vibrant as the butterflies. Almost 180,000 different species live in 127 families. The music by Boris Brejcha is like a “Feuerfalter” (copper). On one side the butterfly is relaxing and floating on the wind, but on the other hand he also sets with steam and fire to a fall into a low altitude. This is how it feels when Brejcha makes music. The fourth album is exactly the description of this “Feuerfalter”, a kind of backflash into the impressive career of Boris Brejcha. An album in two parts, that deliberately shows how the artist works versatile. Times slightly floating, sometimes wild hitting the wing, always full of passion. The influences of his travelings and performances characterize his art again. This creates a music that may be accompanied on Brejchas audience the whole day: at home, in a relaxed atmosphere or just at night, when the trip through the clubs starts. On the 2nd part of the album “Feuerfalter” this individuality is turned on. Brejcha even picks up the desire of his ans to weave a few quieter tracks into his cosmos.

Part 02

Available Formats CD & MP3

Mole Listening Pearls welcome a brand new signing. Superluminal — a production trio from Warsaw, Poland, formed in 2011. Superluminal performs electronic music, saturated with colour, teeming with expression, resonating with dynamics, luxuriant in depth and full of other relevant nerdy scientific verbal equations. Electromagnetism, strong nuclear force, weak nuclear force and gravity — these are the four main forces governing the stability of our reality. Just like the perfect balance of melody, harmony and rhythm render absolute music. Superluminal strives to find this balance and exceed the established criteria of electronic music production with no compromises, encompassing influences from jazz, rock, soul, modernism, film, photography and graphical art. Superluminal is not afraid to play its music live — with almost infinite amount of cables connecting synthesizers, laptops, midi controllers, microphones, guitars and saxophones, in a seemingly chaotic fashion. Superluminal is — coherence, manipulation and reason. The first single “Make it Better” will be released in March, the album “Pacifica” will follow in spring 2014 on Mole Listening Pearls. Over fifteen years ago, a story of success began in the Austrian town of Eisenerz. What started out as a one-person operation in a cramped living-room, became one of the biggest record labels of the independent scene. Fans of the heavier genres have long come to know the name “Napalm Records”. As of today, Napalm has released more than 450 albums – many of which have reached cult status. The summer of 2013 brought Napalm Records two groundbreaking chart entries. POWERWOLF entered the German Longplay Charts at Number 1, making it the first time that a Napalm Records artist claimed the crown. Shortly after, SALTATIO MORTIS repeated this success and made it to the pole position as well. Furthermore, POWERWOLF proved to be an international success, by entering the world charts on number 38! However, Napalm Records does not only limit its operation to the support and development of new talent or the release of its artists’ recordings. We´re proud of to announce, that from now on, Napalm Records is using our technical system as digital service provider (DSP) to deliver releases to their partners and the Content Management Console (CMC) to analyze their sales and channels.

Part 02

Naomi Classic “Pappelallee” celebrates 10th Birthday on February 23rd. On their second album „Pappelallee“ Berlin duo Naomi (Bernd Lechler and Nico Tobias) have delivered in 2004 personal and charming songs situated somewhere between pop and sophisticated electronic music. The warm and touching sound nests pleasantly in auditory canals making the album feel familiar even at first listening. When diving deeper into Naomi’s universe you soon discover a great variety of influences and contrasting elements. The songs are intense, the arrangement is compact and the sound distinctive. „Pappelallee“ is sometimes bizarre but always catchy, profound but highly accessible, melancholic but consoling. Plus, the moving Electropop jewel „King Kong Is Not Dead“ comes as an extra feelgood song. On Februray 24th, 2014 Pappelallee will be re-released as a remastered 10th Anniversary Edition ! Stay tuned.
