For over 15 years, Alter Bridge has been a band known for blurring the line between hard rock and heavy metal. Building upon the sound that has won the band worldwide critical acclaim and a devoted global fan base, the band returns with their sixth studio album, Walk The Sky. The fourteen-track opus marks a creative highpoint for the quartet comprised of Myles Kennedy on vocals/guitars, Mark Tremonti on guitars/vocals, Brian Marshall on bass and Scott Phillips on drums. Walk The Sky is a complete career retrospective drawing upon elements from each of the band’s previous releases to create something new from the band. Recorded in a way never done before, the album was born from complete song ideas created by Kennedy and Tremonti. These songs would then be worked on by the entire band to create the fourteen songs that would make Walk The Sky the listening experience it is.
This varies from the band’s previous method going back to their sophomore release Blackbird where Kennedy and Tremonti would combine individual ideas and riffs alongside producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette to form some of the band’s most revered songs. From the opening vocal melody on “One Life” to the moving finale of “Dying Light,” Alter Bridge have created a formidable addition to their music catalog. Songs like “God Speed,” “Native Son” and “Walking On The Sky” are sure to be early additions to the live set. The first single “Wouldn’t You Rather” is quintessential Alter Bridge and “Forever Falling” also marks a lead vocal return from Tremonti with Kennedy taking the chorus as done previously on the Fortress favorite “Waters Rising.” Alter Bridge will be heading out on a worldwide tour beginning in September in the United States before heading over to Europe to close out 2019.

The waiting has finally come to an end. We’re proud to present DJ Lion‘s long-awaited album ‘Le Temps De L’Amour’. The Balkan-born and now Berlin-based exceptional artist spoils us with twelve versatile and nifty tracks. After a short intro DJ Lion sets the tone with the opening track ‘Only High’ that leads the way into the album, followed by ‘Light Shooter’ which has already caused quite some noise as the second teaser for the album after ‘Reticulation’. In the following DJ Lion raises the bar. Always Techno, but by using tons of different ingredients from acid (‘Chunky Space’) to a splash of steroids (‘Jewroll’) to a pinch of love (‘Le Temps De L’Amour’) he manages to keep the album diverse and always gripping. With ‘Epiphonema’ and its kinky synth lines DJ Lion shows us a more freaky side of him before he perfectly finishes off the journey. DJ Lion demonstrates the capability of a techno album to tell a story from start to finish without ever losing its primary focus: to inspire and thrill the listeners
After the success of Part 1, Stripped Down serves up a second EP of fantastic remixes of ‘Kunuaka’ from Makossa & Megablast’s seminal album of the same name. This time Booka Shade, Stereo MC’s, DJ T., Jenia Tarsol, Chaim, Sado V all come correct. First up are Get Physical label founders and melodic dance-pop icons Booka Shade. They flip the track into something warm and rubbery, with rich and classy melodies dancing over the woody beats. Then come Stereo MCs, whose Connected label is one of the best for lovers of afro tinged and organic house. DJ T. is a giant of the scene offers two versions. Jenia Tarsol made a name with an Ibiza residency alongside Guy Gerber‘s RUMORS and has gone on from his Israeli roots to be a real international presence. For his remix he was joined in the studio by Chaim and Sado V from Red Axes and the result is something special.
« Hôtel Costes presents… » is a collection of exclusive music recorded or mixed at Studio HC, the hotel studio, and composed by Adrien de Maublanc guests. This unique studio with exceptional gears craft the sound of MidiMinuit. The second opus, Round the clock, by Midiminuit, is a modern album where classical and jazz music meet modular synths. MidiMinuit is a collaborative project between pianist Julien Quentin, bass player Yonatan Levi and electronic musicians Cesar Merveille & Adrien de Maublanc. Four experts in their respective fields are harmoniously combining their music creating a new entity. Three days, twelve hours of music per day, from 12pm to 12am. This was the primary rule of the jam sessions, giving the band its name. This was the first time all four musicians came together. In those three days, there was no rehearsals. Every piece was improvised, recorded and it was moved on to the next track. Bringing those world-class musicians together had the potential to create something unique.
