Scott Stapp is known as a Grammy winning songwriter and frontman for Creed (over 50 million albums sold worldwide), and for his work as a solo artist who released the platinum-certified The Great Divide (2005) and Proof of Life (2013) which featured his first solo Billboard #1, “Slow Suicide.” His next solo venture reflects a new outlook after the biggest fight of his life – five years and counting. With new single “Purpose For Pain,” one of rock’s biggest names roars back to the scene with a driving, introspective new single. It is the first song from Scott Stapp’s upcoming album, THE SPACE BETWEEN THE SHADOWS, set for July 2019 release on Napalm Records. The album documents a five-year journey to find meaning – and redemption – in a world where shadows lurk and the space between is a gauntlet towards the light.
Scott’s evolution, both personally and professionally, now reflects a powerful vocal style from an artist with a strong sense of purpose in sharing the silver lining of his survival. As such, he is an inspiration to others who struggle with the often over-lapping illnesses of addiction and depression. Scott Stapp’s With Arms Wide Open Foundation helps military vets and their families with issues of drug addiction, PTSD-triggered mental health issues and suicide prevention. In 2017, the Florida Association of Broadcasters awarded Scott Stapp with the Florida Service Award and in 2018 he was inducted into the Florida Music Hall of Fame.

On an oriental market, the young juggler and acrobat Aladdin (Adam Hollick) arouses the interest of the beautiful princess Shahzadi (Lucia Dimitra Xypteras), who will become sultaness after the death of her father. However, his ancestry and status make it impossible to get to know her better. In addition, the treacherous vizier Maghreb has also kept an eye on the princess and wants to conquer her heart and become Sultan with the help of a spell. To do this, however, he first needs a fabled magic lamp in which a djinni is trapped that can make all wishes come true.
The lamp is hidden in a cave, secured by deadly traps. The vizier believes that only with the help of Aladdin’s acrobatic skills he could come into possession of the lamp. Aladdin lets himself be deceived and, ignorant of the power of the lamp and the dangerous task, faces up to it. But will he be able to unleash and tame the spirit of the lamp himself…?

Ukrainian duo Orbit & Belogurov have long been responsible for crafting out some subtle and expert minimal house wares, and it’s a trick they repeat with distinction here – this time courtesy of Cesare vs Disorder’s and Quenum’s always on-point Serialism label. Backed by a remix of rising star Stephan Bazbaz (who teams up here with Asael Weiss), the Issue EP features three originals as well as the aforementioned remix, with each track on show most definitely worthy of your attention. Coming back to classic dub house on this release and also featuring some a flourish of minimal swing on the remix, ‘The Issue’ follows much-appreciated releases by The Mole and with a Cesare vs Disorder original on its way (will one will come backed with a remix by Dan Andrei) and a Quenum also (with a remix by Luciano) these are heady times indeed for the São Paulo/London based imprint.
“An inspiring and courageous film that shows us that with our beliefs and convictions we can bring the light to an ever darkening world.” (Thechristianfilmreview.com)
Pastor Dave suffers a heavy blow of fate when not only his church burns out, but also his friend, a Pastor from Ghana, dies due to the effects of the fire. In addition, the university on whose grounds the church stands refused to rebuild it. Together with his brother, a lawyer with whom Dave has had no contact for a long time and who has renounced faith, he now tries to save his church.
The third and final part of the successful film series once again provides powerful arguments for the fact that faith in God is anything but dead – and one should always stand up for it. The main actors of some very successful Christian films are in the cast: John Corbett (All Saints), Shane Harper (God isn’t dead), Ted McGinley (What do you believe in?) and, of course, David A. R. White, who now plays the leading role here.
