DJ Lion – Mightery (Harthouse)

If it comes to an unique sound signature, then you can definitely tell without reading but listening to this massive 3 tracker, it’s a DJ Lion style. Stomping beats, wobbling basslines, catchy lead sounds. Yes! This is what makes a club track so catchy and markable. Mightery, Minimum Maximum and 1234554321 are tracks which will join a lot of dj cases during this hot summer and we are very happy to welcome again our new family member back on Harthouse. Welcome DJ Lion.

Theydream – Rocket Man (Fckng Serious)

The two brothers from beaituful Switzerland have formed an unbreakable bond based on both brother’s love of electronic music which they emphasize with their new “Rocket Man” EP yet again. With the title giving A-side track ”Rocket Man” the guys stay true to their name by inviting you, into their world of deep, melancholic and gloomy sound spheres which absorb you completely and leave you behind stunned and thrilled. The B-Side “Pi Persei” connects seamlessly and keeps your journey running through the next level of zero gravity and hypnosis. Integrated into a perfectly aligned beat structure, all three tracks are bursting with self-confidence and sophistication, certainly nothing you would be taking for granted when being confronted with these two humble and withdrawn young gentlemen. Theydream suceed in surprising us, also with their third track “Inertia”: an elaborate and gloriously, puristic piece of music which rounds of this impressive 3-track EP. Well-deserved.

Max Essa – Han Zon Roc EP (Hell Yeah)

A year after his debut outing on the label, Max Essa makes a welcome return to Hell Yeah with the Han Zon Roc EP, which is another of his impossibly laidback offerings. Essa is of course the long time UK talent who has become a part of the Balearic mafia thanks to releases on labels like Aficionado, Music for Dreams, and his own Jansen Jardin. This is the second coming together of artist and label and is another timeless excursion far out to sea.

135159Everything was better in the old days” has always been questionable. Music-wise we have seen major developments across the genres from the eighties until today. One track that defnitely ruled the clubs in the early years was Transform’sTransformation“. Justifably considered an absolute cult hit, it seemed reasonable to see if a contemporary remix of such a classic could turn today’s dancefoors upside down just as well as original did in the past. And hear for yourselves, it can! The original with its raw, puristic and light-footed vibe, spiced up with a hypnotic acid line and topped off with its famous vocal snippet that burned itself into the minds of millions of ravers in the glorious 90s, can certainly be labeled “timeless”. Andreas Krüger aka “Der Dritte Raum” takes “Transformation” into the 21st century in the tried and tested way that we’ve always known and respected this gentleman for: hypnotic, driving and incredibly sophisticated. This remix honors the original and promises to become a hit itself!

132383_web25 years Der Dritte Raum. 25 years of Techno history. On this album, pioneering producer Andreas Krüger has assembled numerous classics and hits which have been – with one exception (“Plasmatica”, 1992) – entirely RECONSTRUCTED. “25 EINS” is the first in a series of releases in celebration of the 25th anniversary of Der Dritte Raum, which will be continued with “ZWEI” and is released on the legendary Harthouse imprint, originally founded by Techno icon Sven Väth back in 1992. Although Der Dritte Raum has stylistically changed over the past 25 years, both the timeless tracks on “25 EINS” as well as current productions from the likes of “Polarized Echoes” are always clearly recognizable as Krüger tracks. For many years now, his perfect blend of Techno, Trance, Electro and House is delighting generations of ravers, and with “25 EINS” the journey into Der Dritte Raum‘s universe of sound begins, displaying all the characteristic and unique sounds and effects of Krüger’s music.

132046Der Dritte Raum – short D3R aka Andreas Krüger & Ralf Uhrlandt are possibly one of the most innovative liveacts Germany’s techno scene has brought forward since the early Nineties, the formative years when Frankfurt trance was growing into a national movement that would change the course of dance music in Germany forever and inspired countless individuals with its take on electronics. With two album releases on the incredibly influential Frankfurt Harthouse imprint, which was partly run by pioneer DJ Sven Väth, Techno Germany’s undisputed father figure who still spearheads the scene, and three album releases on Virgin, there is hardly any live act and producer duo as successful and innovative as D3R. Merging techno, trance, electro and house all into one to create their own distinctive sounds that has generations of ravers on their knees begging for more, it’s time to send them into frenzy again with another burner on the resurrected Harthouse imprint which lost nothing of its impact.

Forteba – Fabula (Plastic City) out on Sept. 25th!

After the huge success of Forteba´s first three albums “Space Between Us,”For Some Time Past” and ” Stereoform” on Plastic City, critics and fans were persecuted by the clear sound and the straight intention, Krisztián Dobrocsi aka Forteba convinced. Both were great works of an artist on the go constantly trying new ways to meet the pulse of him or even to define. Now that more than 3 years have passed and Forteba has achieved with his side-project “Krisztián Decay” in the lounge and listening genre great success, now it is time for another “Forteba” album on Plastic City. With his fourth Album “FABULA” Forteba is now featuring new sounds and brings his talent, depth and warmth to skillfully blend with contemporary club sounds to advantage. He overwhelmed the listener in no way restricted by unnecessary sensationalism and in the productions on the main without too minimalist or even technoid to be. All in all Forteba succeed with his fourth album “Fabula” a quantum leap in the direction of current club sounds, placing it at the same time Plastic City in a new and fresh light.

Music is colorful, diverse and vibrant as the butterflies. Almost 180,000 different species live in 127 families. The music by Boris Brejcha is like a “Feuerfalter” (copper). On one side the butterfly is relaxing and floating on the wind, but on the other hand he also sets with steam and fire to a fall into a low altitude. This is how it feels when Brejcha makes music. The fourth album is exactly the description of this “Feuerfalter”, a kind of backflash into the impressive career of Boris Brejcha. An album in two parts, that deliberately shows how the artist works versatile. Times slightly floating, sometimes wild hitting the wing, always full of passion. The influences of his travelings and performances characterize his art again. This creates a music that may be accompanied on Brejchas audience the whole day: at home, in a relaxed atmosphere or just at night, when the trip through the clubs starts. On the 2nd part of the album “Feuerfalter” this individuality is turned on. Brejcha even picks up the desire of his ans to weave a few quieter tracks into his cosmos.
