Plastic City is a town, not made of stones and metal, but made of the thoughts of its listeners. This ethos is written in English on many Plastic City record covers from 1995 until the present. Plastic City therefore is something mystical; it is timeless and keeps up a constant flow. It is a town built by thoughts, where the inhabitants and their positions are indeterminate, as new dimensions are developing constantly and changes are taking place. “Straight Outta Plastic City” is compiled and mixed by house music legend Terry Lee Brown Junior.
Incl. Tracks & Remixes by David Keno & Jimmy Lesson, Terry Lee Brown Junior, Lukas Greenberg, Dalson, Jeff Swing, Alex Connors & Hardy Heller, Bucher & Kessidis, Pav Parotte, C-Rock & Franksen, Perception Of Sound, Manuel Romero
Forteba or Krisztian Dobrocsi, as he is known to his proud parents, hails from the Hungarian city of Vac where he found his true calling relatively early, with sweet eighteen: producing electronic music of all colours. Starting off with breakbeat and chill-out music, he soon ventured into the world of straight four-four rhythms, profoundly inspired by German deep house. Today, Krisztian is using his Forteba moniker only for his deep house outings, calling himself Krisztian Decay for his lounge excursions. With his debut on Plastic City, the talented Hungarian showed his dedication as well as his instinct for deep and driving deep house in all its facets. His three tracks, solid, state-of-the-art productions, always driven by a powerful groove structure, range from drifting, dream-like episodes to full-on floorburners and definitely show Krisztian’s ability to enchant with compelling beauty.
Forteba – Fabula (Plastic City) out on Sept. 25th!
After the huge success of Forteba´s first three albums “Space Between Us,”For Some Time Past” and ” Stereoform” on Plastic City, critics and fans were persecuted by the clear sound and the straight intention, Krisztián Dobrocsi aka Forteba convinced. Both were great works of an artist on the go constantly trying new ways to meet the pulse of him or even to define. Now that more than 3 years have passed and Forteba has achieved with his side-project “Krisztián Decay” in the lounge and listening genre great success, now it is time for another “Forteba” album on Plastic City. With his fourth Album “FABULA” Forteba is now featuring new sounds and brings his talent, depth and warmth to skillfully blend with contemporary club sounds to advantage. He overwhelmed the listener in no way restricted by unnecessary sensationalism and in the productions on the main without too minimalist or even technoid to be. All in all Forteba succeed with his fourth album “Fabula” a quantum leap in the direction of current club sounds, placing it at the same time Plastic City in a new and fresh light.

Tom Bucher and Christos Kessidis are no strangers to the deep and tech house family of germany and moreover to Plastic City. Their first Plastic City release as mp3 “The Dark Night” in 2010 and the following single E.P.´s “Time”, “Fate” and “Saratonga” showed where sound and style of Bucher & Kessidis are aiming at. Their sound as a platform for romanticism and functionality includes playful melody lines as well as strong beats and rhythms. The style mixture of detroit, britain and german house filled with colourful pictures everytime searches for the one truth hidden between every beat. Tom Bucher & Christos Kessidis, both started Djing and producing in the early respectively the mid 90ies. While Tom startet his career with Michel Niepenberg and Jacek Darnowski under the alias Tojami Sessions, a project that is still alive Christos started solo and released on labels like Exun Records, 8 Bit, Plastic City and Aenaria Music.
With their first mutual album in 2012, including the pre-released singles “Time“ and “Fate“ the team proves its ability to arrange and produce deep-tech-house tracks hitting the zeitgeist absolutely. An enormous depth designs every track while storytelling and functionality stay in the foreground. Now in 2015 we ‘re really excited to listen to their new Album “exit Mexico” with 11 deep’n’housy tracks.
Stay tuned for more tunes from Bucher & Kessidis in 2015!

This week we´re releasing two high recommended electronic albums from the brilliant artists J. Axel from Sweden and Superluminal from Poland on the labels Plastic City and Mole Listening Pearls:
J. Axel – Like A Shadow (Plastic City)
The shadow is an unlit place or a signal generated by a light projection image of a body, caused by itself. Shades in the summer provide coolness and rest. In painting, a shadow gives visual and spatial depth or the perspective to an object, in the first place. The second album by J. Axel explores the musical shadow in Tech House. The Swedish producer places lightweight objects in a glistening Cosmos of Sound and projects its shadows over the entire range of musical moods, emotions and landscapes. The cloud’s shadows are flitting across the sea and protect against the dazzling sun. And it was exactly out there where our battered and sensitive, everyday-stressed souls were lost on a white beach at the Baltic Sea one afternoon in August. The album is a summery meditation, throwing romantic full moon shadows even deep in the night. Right here, music has a function, is tangible, and floods and warms our minds and bodies. J.Axel’s new album is a masterful play of shadows.
Superluminal – Pacifica (Mole Listening Pearls)
Superluminal are a production trio from Warsaw, Poland, formed in 2011. Superluminal performs electronic mus√ic, saturated with colour, teeming with expression, resonating with dynamics, luxuriant in depth and full of other relevant nerdy scientific verbal equations. Superluminal are Electromagnetism, strong nuclear force, weak nuclear force and gravity – these are the four main forces governing the stability of our reality. Just like the perfect balance of melody, harmony and rhythm render absolute music. Their Debut Album “Pacifica” strives to find this balance and exceed the established criteria of electronic music production with no compromises, encompassing influences from jazz, rock, soul, modernism, film, photography and graphical art. Superluminal is not afraid to play its music live – with almost infinite amount of cables connecting synthesizers, laptops, midi controllers, microphones, guitars and saxophones, in a seemingly chaotic fashion. Superluminal is – coherence, manipulation and reason.
