Anemine is an Electronic/Ambient project by Alexander Hardt and Roman Weingardt from Cologne. During a long-standing collaboration, Anemine has developed its very own sound aesthetic. Most of the sounds, the two guys are using, arise out of their own made samples, self-developed software and field recordings. Elements of improvisation and collage pour equally into the process of sound composing. Since its foundation in 2003, collaborations with other artist have been part of the projects work. Anemine has realized two stage programs with the spokeswoman Susanne Rump in the period since 2008. Live electronics, soundscapes and staged reading merge into an unique expression. Their last collaboration was inspired by the novel “Oceano Mare” by Alessandro Baricco, resulting in the album “MeeresWeiten”. The album name is a German play on words, it literally means “SeaWidths”. The dreamlike images, that Alessandro Baricco draws in his novel, are reflected on the album in 11 scenes. Packed in a soundtrack-influenced aesthetic, piano and bayan harmonies flow together. Song structures are traversed by fine-tuned sounds and a subtle veil of noises. Thereby, a soundscape took shape, that appears with a mysterious, colourful and intoxicating expression. Alexander Hardt works as a sound designer, produces radio plays and radio broadcasts. Roman Weingardt works as a sound designer, produces radio programs and develops audio software. “MeeresWeiten” is their first release for “Lemongrassmusic“.

Once upon a time, music from a far away land reached the snowcapped Himalayan mountains of Tibet. Three Buddhas, one representing Freedom, one Respect, and one Tolerance, set out to seek the source of these vibrations. Their long quest took them on a journey where whispers in the wind suggested these sounds resonated from a land filled with magic, mystery and music. After three years they arrived at the island of Ibiza and quickly came ashore, confident they were nearing the climax of their journey. In the center of the island, shrouded in valley mist and nestling in a bamboo forest they set their eyes on Bambuddha Grove, the temple to the Black Sheep Tribe, the Music, the Vibrations, the Source… As you stroll beneath a luscious canopy of bamboo, past watchful carved stone statues, you’d be forgiven for thinking you’ve just landed in Ubud, Goa or Ko Pha Ngan, not outback of a mediterranean isle. Make your way around the grand estate that is Bambuddha Grove®, and you’ll discover flushes of Ibiza luxe – the übercool crowd sipping on Bamboozles, Karmapirinhas or Shivalingas – amidst ancient erotic artefacts and sultry, sumptuous furnishings. Owner John Moon has lovingly created a temple to host private events, monumental parties and everything in between. This year, the new Bambuddha Grove Ibiza album is a special one. The new edition in 2012 has no volume number. Instead of this the compilation is called “Bambuddha Grove Ibiza – Black Sheep Tribe” and is mixed by the well known artist and DJ Ohm-G.More information about the location and the restaurant: Bambuddha Grove (Ibiza)

nor elle – T A X I Nightshift (single) – Mole Listening Pearls

“T a x i” is the 4th album from nor elle aka Terry Lee Brown Junior. After “Phantom Of Life” (1998), “Slapstick” (2001) and “Kombologi” (2006) nor elle defines his own borders of down beat and lounge once again. Concentrating on wide scapes reduced melodic insinuation this time, the album seems to work as a screen. Like a movie without dialoque or a documentary without comments the music gives room for own imaginations and projections. Creating an atmosphere of a nocturnally taxi ride Terry gives a theme, but the rest is up to the listener. Where the taxi drives, how fast or slow, wether the driver is a good or bad one may depend on the mood of the one who to dives into the calm and fantastic world of these wonderful narrative tracks. No instruction is included but leaning back and letting fantasy fly over a warm street at a coast, through a forest or the centre of an illuminated city. After “T A X I 4 5″, this is the second Remix EP with interpretations from Ocean Gaya, V_for_Volkan and Terry Lee Brown Junior from the nightride in the taxicab.
